About
I'm Kayan, a former wet lab scientist and community builder based in London. I work across multiple disciplines including community building, events, design and scientific research.
I like working on eclectic things and people, and I'm interested in de-centralised projects.
I previously juggled Biochemistry and running the finances and events for Era Journal, UCL's Arts & Culture Journal. I then spent two years developing biofuels and cultivated meat. Craving more methods other than the scientific method, I went to the Bartlett School of Architecture to study Bio-Integrated Design and embrace speculative design, eventually bringing back the science into the fold and co-curating some design exhibitions. Now I've combined the science, community-building and design to help support and fund others who can do the science better than I can.
